Sushi Land

Sometimes you just want good sushi without depleting your wallet..

Compromises have to be made. Luckily, there’s a relatively cheap sushi place that does the job for lunch or dinner without leaving you with an empty wallet.

:: FOOD TIME ::

the belt!

Sushi Land is a rotator belt sushi shop that sells small portions of sushi (rolls/fish/small snacks) and is charged per plate.

:: LOCATION ::

Medium space with lots of seating and some wait time during lunch but goes by quick.

:: SERVICE ::

Pretty quick service with lots of tea filling. Waiters also help you order (or you could just shout to the chefs prepping in the center area).

:: FOOD ::

There was some variety of sushi going around the belt but there were also sometimes cold by the time it got to your table or just lacking in quality. Sashimi is sold in twos for a plate thats maybe 2-3 bucks, so for that price, you’d expect the quality to be a bit better which again, is missing from sushi land.

Rice to ingredient ratio in rolls are clearly off, but you get what you pay for, and salmon/tuna rolls are dirt cheap. Fish is not that fresh and has that frozen thawed quality that makes it a bit unpleasant (but you are paying just a few dollars per piece..)

Again the compromise of price and quality. If you’re looking for a quick lunch, this is your place.

:: TLDR ::

Good for wallet, meh for stomach. Fills you up but its probably just the rice. Cheapest and quickest sushi around town.
